Hurricane Matthew resulted in a smaller 2016 Halloween Regatta. . Wind on Saturday prevented racing, but four good races were held on Sunday. [ results Posted below ] Dinners and all other events went well. We wish good luck to the 60 guests that elected to stay home and take care of their property. There was no racing on Saturday because of severe weather from Hurricane Matthew. There was racing on Sunday in good weather.
Thanks to all the people who worked on registration, scoring, and race committee who made this Halloween Regatta successful in spite of the weather, cancellation of many boats, etc., and thanks to the folks who supported the regatta in many other ways including food, administrative support, physical arrangements etc.
Thanks Particularly to Siobhan Maley, who was instrumental in getting registrations straightened out, get and clarifying race data, sail numbers, etc. and helping other ways with the scoring and overall administration of the Regatta.
